While serving as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Pioneer Square Labs, I identified a critical gap in how gig-economy workers access affordable prescriptions​. This insight led to the creation of Otis, intelligence to help independent contractors and freelancers compare pharmacy prices and save up to 90% on their medications​.

Otis aimed to prove that a digital discount service could meaningfully reduce healthcare costs for 1099 workers and appeal to gig platforms as a benefit. The experiment validated the need for better price transparency, though we ultimately found that market barriers impeded scaling the solution​. Even so, the venture provided valuable insights and underscored my commitment to exploring innovative solutions for healthcare affordability, even when confronting tough market realities.
